The Yog Gurukul team discovered the benefits of yoga in their daily lives and decided to share their knowledge with the rest of the world. The team is convinced that yoga, by connecting the body, mind, and soul, can transform one’s life and enable one to live a healthy and peaceful life. Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word “yuj,” which means “to unite” the mind, body, and soul. Yoga is one of the ancient practises that has proven to be beneficial. Yoga should be practised on a daily basis to keep the mind, intellect, and ego under control.

Yog Gurukul strives to provide an authentic yogic experience that can transform one’s life. We aspire to create an empire of yogis and yoginis in which everyone lives in peace and harmony.

Prashanth M.D


Prasanth has 12 years of experience and has been training in Martial Arts his entire life. Extensive knowledge of various combat techniques and self-defense techniques. Excellent knowledge in intermediate and advanced level classes in a variety of Martial Arts styles such as Kung-fu, Karate, Boxing, and Kick boxing. Second Dan in Shaolin Manchurian Kung Fu. Holds a black belt in Chinese Kung Fu. Achieved Best Fighter Awards in Chinese Kung Fu for the years 2010 & 2012.
